What does the term healthy lifestyle mean?

Have you noticed that the above question means different things when asked to diverse people? It could be based on their belief systems, culture, status, and even their present lifestyle, think about it. You could even send us a comment about what it means to you.

For our discussion, we will define a healthy lifestyle to be a condition of total physical, mental, and social well-being, not only the absence of sickness or illness. This includes eating a well-balanced diet, exercising regularly, abstaining from tobacco and other drugs, and obtaining plenty of rest.

With the definition given above, you might want to ask what are now the benefits of exercising and abstaining among many, from the mentioned vices (in other words, healthy living). We are humans and we all love different things for some reasons best known to us whom other friends might not subscribe to but let us share with you a few benefits.
