Li Yo - The Nigerian Artist You Should Watch Out For

Lawal Ibrahim Ayobami also is known as LI YO is a young Nigerian artist, a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). LIYO as he is popularly called on stage is a Hip-hop artist who records in English but speaks Yoruba as his mother’s tongue. He is from Ikire, Osun State, Nigeria, where he is based. LiYo started his music career a few years back and has been active since 2011 till present.

The talented act – LiYo loves music and has explored a lot, he has come to make the hip-hop culture his life, world and hustle. He has worked with FWE records and  has performed on different events like the Lagos Fiesta 2017, which took place in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

In 2010 he released his debut album titled “ALUBARIKA”, also with tracks like:

·         Omotoshan ft. Folar Star

·         Ololufemi

·         Hello bae

·         Tweerk ft. Kellyfresh (mmmy record label first son) and

·         Omo Eso ft. natty K

Anticipating is his new song titled “Abiamo”.
